We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Security Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, TX
. In this role, you will play a critical part in strengthening our cybersecurity program by driving risk assessments, compliance initiatives, and security awareness across the organization.
- Lead and execute information security risk assessments for projects and systems.
- Partner with IT and business teams to integrate security controls into key initiatives.
- Monitor vulnerabilities, emerging threats, and report on security metrics to leadership.
- Support the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) IT controls as part of the Daimler Internal Control System.
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures aligned to industry frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/27005).
- Assess the security of IT systems and oversee remediation plans for identified risks.
- Evaluate and monitor third-party providers for compliance and risk exposure.
- Create and deliver security awareness and education materials for employees.
- 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in Cybersecurity/IT Security (GRC preferred).
- Strong background in Risk Management (monitoring, reporting, quantification).
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Hands‑on experience with security frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, ISO 27005.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance reviews or spot checks.
- A proactive mindset and motivation to grow your cybersecurity career.
- Information Security certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CGRC, CISA, CISM, CRISC.
- Experience in the financial sector or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of U.S. regulations (NYCRR 500, GLBA, etc.).
- Familiarity with Compliance Management Systems.
- Experience with JIRA (administrative capacity a plus).
- Knowledge of cloud security governance.
- Expertise in Third-Party Risk Management and audit procedures.
