LHH is partnering with a growing healthcare organization as the source for an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist to support multi‑state payroll while assisting with core HR operations. This role is ideal for someone detail‑driven, organized, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.
This is a 100% onsite role.
- Process bi‑weekly U.S. and Canadian payroll, including taxes, deductions, and garnishments.
- Maintain payroll compliance across federal, state/provincial, and local regulations.
- Support tax notices, registrations, reporting, and audits.
- Maintain HRIS data and employee records.
- Assist with onboarding, verifications, scheduling, and employee lifecycle tasks.
- Prepare reports, support audits, and provide internal payroll/HR support.
- 3–5 years multi‑state payroll (10+ states required).
- Canadian payroll experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and reporting.
- Proficiency in payroll systems + Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and confidential.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business preferred.
