Overview

Fort Worth Omni Hotel is a full-service convention center property offering Texas hospitality in downtown Fort Worth. To ensure proper training and supervision of all Laundry personnel and to deliver prompt, courteous, cost-effective service that complies with Omni standards.

• Turn on/check the ironer and ensure it is in good operating condition (wax, etc.).
• Check all washing machines and dryers to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Set priorities for the day for Laundry staff.
• Assign all Laundry associates to their stations when they check in.
• Keep count and records of all items processed.
• Personally supervise the spotting and washing of all stained linens/terry.
• Recommend linen to be converted to rags when necessary.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the hotel, facilities and events.
• Oversee the delivery of linens to Food & Beverage and guestroom floors.
• Ensure the correct folding of all items and set priorities for the linen runners in loading and delivery to floors.
• Inspect all linen before it leaves the Laundry.
• Oversee Laundry associate morale, absenteeism and daily production.
• Ensure proper station rotation during the day.
• Communicate with Housekeeping Assistant, Room Service Manager, Restaurant Manager, and Banquet Manager for all daily specials and weekly/monthly requirements.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for hotel guests and associates.

• Ability to push carts up to 100 lb filled with linen.
• Able to use all machinery in the Laundry.
• Flexible with schedules including weekends and holidays.
