- Focusing on patient care you will cultivate a designated customer base, continually prospect for new customers in an assigned geographic area, act on leads and persuasively position our products and services versus competitors. Territory Managers are also responsible for ensuring the territory meets or exceeds all sales revenue goals, assessing competitor strategies, and working closely with the Regional Business Director and other team members on developing sales strategies.
- The Territory Manager will oversee the entire SCS process of patient care, including pre‑surgical education, post‑surgical follow‑ups and long‑term care of the device, while building a referral base of physicians, OR and hospital staff.
- Must have appropriate working knowledge of Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulation products and applications. Basic computer skills for procedures and programming are required. The manager supports physicians’ use of our products in the OR and with patients, translating technical and clinical knowledge into customer and patient loyalty.
- Provide and receive coaching, and give and receive open and honest feedback to ensure success. Develop high‑performing teams by fostering cooperation, communication and cohesion to achieve goals. Build rapport with clinicians, nurses, technicians, patients and colleagues to influence sales and usage of Spinal Cord Stimulation products, actively listening with empathy and respect. Commit to professional and personal development.
- Translate business strategy into clear objectives by maintaining pricing strategy discipline, anticipating problems and establishing procedures for meeting goals. Demonstrate a broad understanding of financial management principles and its impact on a territory level. Collaborate with Regional Business Director, Health Economics & Reimbursement and National Accounts to increase sales team success.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 0‑2+ years’ work experience in a sales or clinical role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Medical device sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biology, Kinesiology or another science field.
The anticipated annualized base amount for this full‑time position will be $80,000
, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (including certain annual non‑discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) and the value of core and optional benefits offered ual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable experience, education, licensure, certifications and other relevant factors.
As a field‑sales role, the position is considered safety‑sensitive and a pre‑employment drug test will be required. Certain US positions require proof of COVID‑19 vaccination. Candidates will be notified during the interview and selection process if vaccination is mandatory.
