Receiving Specialist

Overview

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of medical supplies, equipment, and other hospital inventory. This role ensures that all inbound shipments meet hospital standards and regulatory requirements before being distributed to various hospital departments. The Receiving Specialist plays a key role in maintaining supply chain efficiency and preventing disruptions in patient care by ensuring timely and accurate inventory management.

• Receive, inspect, and document medical supplies, equipment, and hospital inventory with accuracy.
• Ensure inbound shipments meet hospital standards and regulatory requirements before distribution to hospital departments.
• Maintain supply chain efficiency and prevent disruptions in patient care by ensuring timely and accurate inventory management.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience:
  
  1-3 years of experience in a receiving, warehouse, or supply chain role.
