Pharmacy Clerk/ Assistant

Overview: Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Pharmacy Clerk/ Assistant.

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Duration: 3 months+ Contract with high possibility of extension!!

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

Note:

• ONSITE role
• Work Schedule:
  
  9am to 6pm, with rotating Saturday rotation (this is also a temp position)

Job Description:

The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with packaging and shipping of the drugs, supplies, and patient information according to company policies, procedures, and state board of pharmacy regulations. A list of essential duties and responsibilities, although not all inclusive, are as follows:

• Fundamental knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work as a team and collaborate accordingly
• Willing to work morning and/or afternoon shift required
• Flexible multi-task-oriented worker
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work on your feet for 95% of the day

Preferred:

• One-year experience in mail service or specialty pharmacy dispensing preferred
• Experience with inventory management
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Innovative and continuous improvement mindset
