Position in this function provides pharmacist services for Kelsey Specialty Pharmacy. When present, they are responsible for achievement of customer service, clinical initiative objectives, financial objectives, and regulatory compliance. They are expected to adhere to professional practices and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic (KSC) and Kelsey Specialty Pharmacy policies and procedures, and management of assigned personnel including students and pharmacy technicians in the absence of the specialty pharmacy manager.

When present, they oversee pharmacy personnel, provision of services, inventory, and overall performance along with the specialty pharmacy manager. Performs all duties of a registered pharmacist including accurate dispensing and counseling of prescriptions to customers.
