Department highlights

This is a very collaborative practice that includes a mix of inpatient management (perioperative, post‑transplant, rejection management and re‑admissions) as well as the outpatient clinic with both pre‑transplant (patient education) and post‑transplant (medication / disease state management) all in collaboration with a hands‑on multidisciplinary team.

Here’s What You Need
  • Bachelor’s Degree Pharmacy required
  • Pharm

    D. degree from a U.S.

    -accredited College of Pharmacy required
  • 1 year PGY1 residency experience upon hire required
  • 3 years focused hospital pharmacist experience required
  • 2 years residency experience in Renal Transplant (PGY2) required upon hire
  • 5 years of hospital pharmacist experience required
  • Highly preferred PGY1 residency completion (or equivalence)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, training and development and contributions to the profession required.
What You Will Do Team Leadership
  • Guide the collective effort towards constant improvement and goal achievement.
Clinical Leadership
  • Work independently as well as participate and lead group efforts to improve pharmaceutical care.
Professional Activities
  • Publishing (posters at regional professional meetings to publishing in national peer‑reviewed journals)
  • Participation (minimum) / leadership (at least periodically) in relevant professional organizations.
  • Active leadership in preceptorship for resident and student programs
  • Maintaining relevant board certification in applicable specialty area
  • Other duties as assigned.
