Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Fort Worth. This is a stand-alone outpatient PT clinic that sees a variety of post-op and non-op patients. The population is spine heavy, with the majority of others being knees and shoulders. Aquatic therapy is offered. The clinic director is McKenzie certified, which guides clinic processes and methods.

Some neuro patients are treated, but there are no expectations of transferring dependent patients.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current Texas state license or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
  • Proficiency in exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for physical therapy and genuine commitment to patient care
  • Outgoing and energetic personality with a positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and treatment plans
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a determination to achieve professional objectives
  • Empathetic approach to patient care and ability to motivate others
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry best practices
