Utilization Management Reviewer

As the Utilization Management Reviewer supports daily operations by tracking authorizations, researching issues, coordinating with third-party payors, outside agencies, and clinics, processing discharges, and handling additional tasks to ensure optimal departmental performance. This role requires considerable independent initiative and judgment, serving as a resource to upper management with occasional travel. The reviewer has decision-making authority in program planning, policy development, and coordination of Medicaid and non-Medicaid service programs.

Participation in regular meetings to strategize increasing system capacity is also included.

• Track authorizations and process discharges
• Research issues and coordinate with third-party payors, outside agencies, and clinics
• Support policy development and program planning; participate in regular strategy meetings to increase system capacity
• Travel as needed
