RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 2:1 patient ratio (2 patients per 1 RN)

• 2 weekend shifts required biweekly

• No on-call responsibilities

• Must have 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any Critical Care specialty)

• Ventilator experience and arterial/central line/chest tube management skills required

• CVICU specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience preferred

• BSN and CCRN certification preferred

• Meditech experience preferred

• Work with GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (Next Stage), Impella, Swan Ganz, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators

• EMR system:
Meditech

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, arterial lines, and chest tube procedures

• Float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU as needed

• Dress code:
Royal Blue scrubs

• Must be a team player who works well with collaborative care

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building. The unit maintains a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with dedicated charge nurses on both day and night shifts. The facility provides comprehensive critical care services with advanced equipment and technology to support complex cardiovascular patients. The unit follows a collaborative care model and maintains high standards for patient care and safety.
