Overview
The Document Processing Department Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department including personnel hiring, quality assurance of product, workflow, maintaining the tracking of and accountability of staff regarding production standards and department expectations. Works collaboratively with other department managers to achieve departmental requirements and goals. This is a hybrid role reporting to Fort Worth, TX.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate communication of information, in written and electronic forms, directed to internal company contacts, clients and providers
- Direct a designated group of employees in their day-to-day operations
- Monitor quality control of results for individuals and the unit overall
- Ensure metrics are in compliance daily
- Track and report department metrics to the Director of Operations on a monthly basis or as required
- Schedule and monitor staff attendance
- Distribute claims to designated staff to meet client SLAs
- Handle human resources matters directly related to the supervised department (e.g., interviewing, hiring, training, addressing personnel issues). Report issues to Operations Manager when necessary
- Ensure evaluations are completed on time
- Maintain regular and consistent in-house attendance
- Comply with safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
- Maintain HIPAA compliance policies
- May be required to travel overnight and attend meetings
- May perform daily, weekly, monthly reviews of various reports, invoices, logs and expenses
- Additional duties as assigned
- Good computer and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, mainly Outlook, Excel, Word
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced/production based environment
- Effective communication with others
- Associates degree, national certification or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years office experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
Cor Vel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time. For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.)
new hires may be slotted into a different level, up or down, based on assessment during the interview process, considering experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $54,075 – $80,926
