Orama is a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) for adolescent girls, committed to creating a safe, healing, and relational environment for teens and their families. We believe lasting change happens when treatment is both trauma-focused and family-centered, and we are passionate about raising the standard of care for adolescent mental health.
We are seeking a compassionate, grounded, and engaging Part-Time Clinical Therapist to support our weekend programming through group facilitation and milieu-based therapeutic support. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in group settings, enjoys experiential or activity-based interventions, and values collaboration within a residential treatment environment.
Position SummaryThe Part-Time Clinical Therapist facilitates trauma-informed, experiential, and skills-based group interventions that support emotional regulation, healthy coping, relational skills, and positive peer engagement. This role works closely with residential staff to support behavior management within the milieu, reinforce treatment goals, and contribute to a consistent and therapeutic weekend environment.
Ideal Schedule- Thursday, Friday, and Saturday | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- (Some flexibility may be available based on program needs.)
Special consideration will be given to clinicians with training or interest in experiential modalities (e.g., art therapy, psychodrama, movement-based or adventure-based interventions), as these approaches align with Orama’s commitment to whole-person healing.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate structured group therapy, experiential activities, and skills-based programming for adolescent girls.
- Provide therapeutic support and coaching within the residential milieu, reinforcing emotional regulation, boundaries, and healthy peer interaction.
- Collaborate closely with residential and clinical staff to maintain a consistent, supportive, and trauma-informed environment.
- Integrate experiential and creative modalities (art, movement, psychodrama, recreation-based interventions, etc.) into group programming.
- Observe, document, and communicate client progress, behavioral themes, and clinical observations to the treatment team.
- Contribute to a safe, engaging, and growth-oriented weekend program that complements weekday clinical services.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Recreation Therapy, or a related field.

Orama provides in-house clinical supervision for LMSW candidates. - Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with adolescents in residential, behavioral health, or related settings (group and milieu experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated strength in group facilitation, behavior management, and experiential or activity-based interventions.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and adolescent development.
- Collaborative, regulated, and creative approach to engaging teens in therapeutic work.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
