Mind Care Solutions, a leader in comprehensive mental health solutions operating across various settings, is seeking a Weekend Psychiatrist to manage operations and provide overall direction and leadership for the provision of mental health services in the facility.

Up to $185 per hour based on experience and contract type.

Burleson, TX (on-site).

Part-time – Saturday and Sunday (minimum of 6 hours a day). Alternating weekends available.

• Provide psychiatric services for an inpatient behavioral health unit.
• Deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented psychiatric care to adults with serious mental illness in a structured residential setting.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support stabilization, continuity of care, and long-term recovery.
• Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, ensuring treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed.
• Create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.
• Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patient files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.
• Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract requirements.

• Active and unrestricted Texas license.
• At least 2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required).
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry.
• Valid and unrestricted DEA registration in Texas.

$180 – $185 per hour (Burleson, Texas).
