Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling tasks such as entering new patient information, answering phones, scheduling appointments electronically, collecting co-payments, and performing other clerical duties as required.

• Minimum of one year of prior experience working in a medical front office, preferably in Internal Medicine.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with various insurance plans including HMOs and PPOs.
• Strong typing skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience with Next Gen EPM/EMR systems is a plus.

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Input and update patient information accurately in the system.
• Manage and schedule appointments efficiently using computer systems.
• Collect co-payments and provide patients with necessary payment information.
• Assist with various administrative tasks as needed to support the medical office.

Salary:
Will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
