Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, Nutrition Science, Home Economic, or other related degree approved to serve as a certifying authority by the Texas WIC program with twelve (12) hours food and nutrition classes.
Minimum of two (2) years Clinical Nutrition experience preferred.
Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Skilled with using spreadsheets and/or word processing software.
Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Tarrant County will conduct background checks that will include a criminal background check and may include credit reports, motor vehicle records, employment records, educational attainment, or additional State or Federal legal requirements.
While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, push and pull. Travel required, using personal vehicle. Work hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm. One Saturday a month hours 8am-5pm.
