Physical Therapy Outpatient department
Work hours:
PRN:
On an as needed basis, Monday-Friday outpatient clinic;
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8AM-6PM, and Tuesday/Thursday 7AM-5PM
Outpatient orthopedic Rehab Services: with opportunity to treat general orthopedic non-operative and post-operative conditions, balance and conditioning, some sports medicine rehab.
Located about 15 miles South of downtown Ft. Worth
Facility dedicated to providing quality health care to residents of the Burleson, Joshua and Crowley communities.

Free Parking
Bachelor’s degree completion of a Physical Therapist program required.
Outpatient experience is helpful, but none required.
1-2 years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
Physical Therapist with general orthopedic background preferred
Ability to perform hands on treatment and provide rehab programs preferred
General orthopedic Physical Therapy experience with specialized balance-vestibular skills
PT - Physical Therapist Texas - Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Problem-solving ability, Ability to teach others and Time management skills.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills
Texas Health Physical Therapists are responsible for using therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
Performing treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license. Utilizing a variety of treatment techniques to achieve goals, if necessary, determining patient response to treatment and evaluates progress.
Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
Performs treatment procedures/techniques that are within the scope of the professional license.
Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment.
Motivate non-compliant or unmotivated patients to participate in therapy
