Radiographer

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographer

Signing Bonus for Eligible Candidates

Location:

6301 Harris Parkway – Suite 300, Fort Worth, TX 76132

Work environment:
Texas Hip and Knee – Fort Worth

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours weekly;
Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)

Here’s What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
  • Completion of an AART-approved Limited Radiologic Technology Education Program (REQUIRED)
  • Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)
  • One year of Clinical Radiologic Technology experience (PREFERRED)
  • AART, BCLS and ACLS upon hire (REQUIRED)
What You Will Do
  • Produce and perform diagnostic radiographs procedures, to be interpreted by the physician or radiologist.
  • Take X‑Rays of various body portions in order to diagnose disease or injury; position patients and adjust equipment for diagnostic images following established procedures.
  • Examine radiology film and/or digital exams for properties such as density and contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion.
  • Maintain radiographic log in accordance with policies, ensuring documentation of exam, patient’s name, and retake reason.
  • Follow principles of safety, radiation protection, and patient comfort and care.
