Job Description:
Description: The Licensed Physical Therapist provides and executes a Physical Therapy plan of care for patients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
Typical Duties:
- Evaluates and executes a Physical Therapy plan of care for patients.
- Documents patient care and charges.
- Provides leadership and direction for Physical Therapist Assistants, support staff, and Physical Therapy students.
- Participates in professional development and continuing education to insure compliance with licensure laws.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required
Education and Experience:
B.S. in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. - Preferred
Education and Experience:
1 year experience as a Physical Therapist. - Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: Current licensure by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
