An Orthopedic Physical Therapist treats conditions affecting muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons. The role involves helping patients build strength, flexibility, and mobility, reducing pain and improving quality of life. The therapist assists with post-operative exercises and ensures recovery without re-injury.

• Perform and evaluate patient assessments following physician-recommended treatment plans.
• Develop intervention routines for orthopedic issues affecting various body parts.
• Communicate effectively with case managers, referrals, staff, and care coordinators.
• Discuss evaluation results with patients, caregivers, and physicians.
• Engage patients in therapy for optimal recovery outcomes.
• Design home programs to continue therapy outside clinical settings.
• Organize training programs for staff, patients, and caregivers.
• Monitor schedules to ensure timely treatment delivery.
• Participate in programs and conferences on new developments in the field.
• Next Gen experience is helpful but not required.
