CT Technologist PRN

Overview

Envision Imaging is looking for a PRN CT Technologist to join our team at the Keller office. Position Pay Range: $34.05 - $43.92.

• Interface with patients to ascertain medical history and provide instructions and explanation of the procedure to obtain the best possible image.
• Review patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent, screen patients for surgical or other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
• Obtain prior films/exams as needed and perform high‑quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Perform exams while attending to patient care before, during and after the exam, notifying the appropriate party if the patient’s condition changes at any time.
• Transfer images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinate scan protocols with the Radiologist.
• Maintain and regularly inspect equipment and immediately report any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
• Interface with the Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any departmental concerns.

• Two plus years’ experience in Computed Tomography (CT) – preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self‑motivated, a problem solver, and a team player.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a very fast‑pace team environment.
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation.
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Registry in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable).
• Current CPR certification.
