Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational therapy.
  • Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Current Texas Driver's License with reliable transportation
Responsibilities
  • Design and administer the therapy treatment plan as developed by the Therapist Supervisor.
  • Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
  • Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
  • Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitate the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Meet mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.
  • Demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency.
