Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher + Two (2) full-time years of related work experience.
Must possess a current RN license.
Must possess a valid Driver License and a good driving record.
Experience with community, maternal, child health or mental and behavioral health is preferred.
Good knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of field of nursing.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to make professional nursing decisions and operate autonomously under the NFP guidelines.
Bilingual preferred.
Flexible work availability is needed to facilitate home visits.

BACKGROUND CHECKSTarrant County will conduct background checks on new hires that will include a criminal background check related to convictions and deferred adjudications in the past seven years and may include credit reports, motor vehicle records, employment records and educational attainment. A conviction or deferred adjudication is not an automatic bar to employment. Each case is considered individually.
While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, drive, push and pull.
