This position involves providing compassionate and attentive care to a young female member with Aitardi Syndrome, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. The member is non-verbal and requires a caregiver who is patient, observant, and experienced in working with children with developmental and neurological conditions.
The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety and comfort, and provide emotional support. While the member is not bedbound, she will need help with mobility and communication. Experience with non-verbal children and familiarity with assistive communication methods is a plus. The member lives in a household with her mother and two brothers. There are no pets in the home, and the environment is smoke-free.
