Duties:
Greeting patients, entering new patient information, checking in and out, answering telephones/portal/pigeon verifying insurance coverage, scheduling patients on the computer, collecting co-payments and balances, and various other clerical duties.
Job Requirements:
Must have 1 year previous medical front office experience preferably in a family medicine office. Must have excellent people and telephone skills and be familiar with medical terminology, ICD
10 and CPT coding, and knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, and various insurance plans. Must have excellent typing and math skills, ten key by touch and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Nextgen EPM/EMR experience is A+
Days/
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7:40 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 7:40 am to 12:00 pm
