RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 2 weekend shifts required biweekly

• No on-call responsibilities

• 2:1 nurse to patient ratio (2 patients per 1 RN)

• Must have 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)

• Ventilator experience required

• Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills required

• CVICU specific experience preferred

• CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience preferred

• Meditech experience preferred

• BSN and CCRN preferred

• Must be a team player who works well with collaborative care

• Work with equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (Next Stage), Implella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, Chest tubes, and ventilators

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, and chest tube procedures

• Float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU as needed

• Royal blue scrubs required

• Work in 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with all RN staff

This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building. The facility maintains high-quality patient care standards with advanced cardiac monitoring equipment and specialized procedures. The CVICU is staffed entirely by registered nurses and maintains optimal staffing ratios with collaborative care approaches to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
