RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 2:1 nurse to patient ratio (2 patients per RN)

• 2 weekend shifts required biweekly

• No on-call responsibilities

• Must have 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)

• Ventilator experience required

• Art/Central line and chest tube management skills required

•

Preferred experience:

CVICU specific, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella

• Meditech experience preferred

• BSN and CCRN certification preferred

• Work with equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (Next Stage), Implella, Swan Ganz, art lines, chest tubes, and ventilators

• EMR system:
Meditech

• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, art lines, and chest tube management

• Must be a team player who works well with collaborative care

• Dress code:
Royal blue scrubs required

• Float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU as needed

This healthcare facility features a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building. The unit maintains high staffing standards with all RN staff and a 2:1 nurse to patient ratio on both day and night shifts. The facility uses advanced cardiac equipment and technology to provide comprehensive critical care services, specializing in cardiovascular intensive care with capabilities for complex procedures and monitoring.
