Position: Occupational Therapist - Acute with Training

Overview

Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Acute Care. Located within a 450 bed, suburban medical center, this facility has the heart of academia with the resources of a 125 year old community hospital. With a team of OTs, COTAs, PTs, PTAs, and SLPs, the Occupational Therapists here focus on Inpatient Acute Care, covering every unit in the hospital from med/surg to critical care.

Volumes on the acute side stay consistent with emphasis on patient education over productivity. Every Occupational Therapist is supported by a buddy system with a dedicated preceptor program in place for new graduates!

Compensation

Responsibilities
  • 5-6 acute adult evals per day
  • Team of 5 OTs + 11 PTs + 17 support staff
  • Monday - Friday 8a-5p with 1 per 8 weekends
  • Ortho, neuro, oncology, post-op
  • Experienced OTs will also service cardiac and ICU

Requirements
  • Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist
