• Assesses patients and develops treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other clinicians.
• Compile rehabilitation strategies including specific exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles, improve posture, balance and endurance.
• Document progress, reevaluate physical findings, and modify treatment strategies as appropriate.
• Work as a team with other professionals, including physicians, to maximize patient functional independence.
• Administer manual therapies (e.g., manual exercises, massage, traction) to relieve pain, increase strength, or prevent deformity.
• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust plans to achieve maximum benefit.
• Teach patients and families how to continue treatment at home and how to use assistive devices as needed.
• Supervise technicians or physical therapy assistants as required.
• Attend monthly/annual staff or facility meetings as needed.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program; successful completion of clinical internship. Master’s degree in physical therapy preferred.
• Experience:
  
  New grads and experienced therapists welcome.
• Licensure/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current state physical therapist license. Current CPR certificate. Any required CEUs for license renewal.

• Salary range: $83,000–$104,000
• $10,000 sign-on bonus
• Benefits include flexible hours, CEU reimbursement, and incentive pay.
