A Sr. Contract Compliance Specialist job is available with the City of Fort Worth Police Department in the CCPD Partners with a Shared Mission Unit. This team is responsible for facilitating grant funding contracts that are awarded to non-profit agencies conducting crime prevention programming. This role is responsible for coordinating contract development, monitoring, and requests for reimbursements.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, finance or a related field
  • Three (3) years of experience preparing and monitoring grant funded community programs
  • Drug Screen, Polygraph, CJIS fingerprint background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three (3)-years’ experience in non-profit administration including working with grant making or grant seeking agencies including site visit monitoring
  • Three (3)-years’ experience working with non-profit program management including administration, program evaluation, program logic models, and program budgets
The Sr Contract Compliance Specialist

Job Responsibilities Include
  • Works with Legal department in leading and overseeing the development and improvement of standardized agreements; and assists in policy and procedure development and improvement
  • Conducts routine program monitoring; reviews files, policies, procedures and process assessments; and prepares monitoring reports
  • Assists in updating and management of contract tracking database and related information; and assists in improvement, restructuring and maintenance of the contract tracking system
  • Reviews revenue, expenditures and balances for all accounts; analyze expenditures to ensure transactions are accurate and appropriate; examines purchase requests; and maintains, reviews and monitors financial records and requests for payments
  • Compiles and analyzes agency monitoring data for audit; presents findings; reports discrepancies; and makes recommendations for corrective action
  • Provides administrative support; receives and responds to requests for information; compiles reports
  • Performs other related duties as required
Working Conditions and Physical Demand

Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Background Check

Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position:
Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.
