Jet Health, Inc. is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager to lead complex accounting functions, support ERP / EMR optimization, and drive system integration initiatives across our growing finance team.

Senior Accountant II is a key contributor to our Finance organization, taking ownership of complex accounting areas, leading system integration initiatives, and supporting operational leaders with high-level financial insight. This individual works with minimal supervision, demonstrates advanced technical and analytical capabilities, and plays a critical role in enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

This position requires accounting knowledge, exceptional Excel competency, deep experience with ERP systems, and comfort working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Problem solving, building systems and developing process to bring the organization to the next level. Familiarity with medical billing, claims adjustment, labor tracking and reporting, and cost analysis is highly preferred

Responsibilities
  • Lead components of the month-end close including advanced journal entries, complex reconciliations, multi-entity analysis, and account reconciliation activities.
  • Own specialized accounting areas such as revenue recognition, deferred revenue, fixed assets, leases, or healthcare-specific cost categories.
  • Prepare and present financial results, variance analysis, and trend reporting to senior accounting leadership.
  • Support site management in profitability and variance analysis of monthly PL reporting
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for system conversion projects, guiding system configuration, workflow optimization, and module enhancements.
  • Work with our data management vendor on API integrations, system interfaces, and cross-platform data flows, ensuring accuracy of high-volume datasets.
  • Act as a lead on Practice management systems related projects, including system conversions, data mapping, testing, and migration validation.
  • Drive automation and process improvements using advanced analytical tools, modeling, and Excel-based solutions.
  • Support and lead healthcare-specific reporting, including Medicaid and Medicare cost reports, payer analytics, and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to interpret financial data, resolve discrepancies, and strengthen financial controls.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Staff Accountants and Senior Accountant I team members, offering training, review, and support.
  • Manage audit preparation in assigned areas, including documentation, schedules, and technical responses.
  • Produce accurate and high-visibility deliverables for leadership, auditors, and external partners with minimal oversight.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior-level or lead responsibilities.
  • Expert-level Excel proficiency, including advanced Pivot modeling, comfort with large and complex data sets.
  • Proven experience leading API integrations, multi-system data flows, or technical financial integrations.
  • Strong GAAP knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, lead projects, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly present financial information to non-financial leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading or heavily supporting conversions from Great Plains or Quick Books to Net Suite or Sage Intacct.
  • Healthcare industry experience, especially Medicaid or Medicare cost reporting, reimbursement models, multi-state or home health/hospice operations.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, or advanced data analytics tools.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching accounting team members
