Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Corporate Director of FP&A, the Intern position will support the activities and operations of the Corporate Finance department. This position will preferably live within close proximity to the ESA Corporate offices in Fort Worth, TX, for on-site work as needed. This is a developmental position, restricted to college Juniors or Seniors whose college major and the department's role are compatible.
The goal of the internship is to allow the student to use the skills and knowledge obtained to make career decisions.
The Value You Deliver:
- Support annual operating plan creation and analysis
- Track departmental budgets and report status to budget owners
- Perform cash flow analysis on a weekly basis by reviewing cash actuals and updating the forecast
- Create dashboards to improve efficiency and optimization of the corporate finance department
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma and currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program for Finance
- Utilization of knowledge and skills developed during completion of a specified technical undergraduate degree program with at least 2-3 years of college completed in a major related to the assigned department, program, or function
- Strong attention to detail, written and oral communication skills, the ability to understand and follow complex, detailed instructions, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities, and be able to work for short to moderate periods of time without direct supervision
- Working knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
