EECU is dedicated to delivering excellent service and it starts with you discovering our members' needs. This position will rotate within the branch, helping to support our members with products and services as needed. You may be the first-person members meet in our financial center who may guide our members by advising, suggestive selling and setting up their new products. The Financial Center Consultant II will conduct consultative selling sessions: perform financial profiles on members to ascertain relationship expansion opportunities.

Utilize indirect cross-selling reports and internal opportunity reports as provided by management. Primarily this position will spend the time performing platform functions, opening new accounts and loan production. We are looking for someone who is proud to represent EECU and who gets great satisfaction in creating lifelong members by developing sincere relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service and guidance to members to discover the right financial products and solutions.
  • Welcome members as the first point of contact and guide them through new accounts and loan production.
  • Conduct consultative selling sessions and financial profiles to identify relationship expansion opportunities.
  • Open new accounts and process loan production; perform platform functions as needed.
  • Proactively initiate and support marketing initiatives within the branch.
  • Build exceptional rapport with members and deliver excellence in service.
  • Maintain lobby coverage, greet all members, answer calls, and direct to appropriate staff.
  • Adhere to compliance requirements and maintain professional representation of EECU.
Qualifications
  • Proven goal achievement in loan production.
  • Cross selling and referral skills are strongly preferred.
  • Ability to deliver great member experiences through constant personal interaction, whether in the teller line or as a personal banker.
  • Provide a complete service and sales experience resulting in monthly sales goals being met or exceeded.
  • Perform a broad variety of member service functions such as opening business and consumer loans/accounts and solving operational issues.
  • Proactively participate in marketing initiatives within the branch.
  • Build exceptional rapport with members through outstanding service.
  • Lobby coverage responsibilities include concierge duties and directing members to appropriate staff.
  • August credit history evaluation in compliance with applicable laws; only applicants with good credit history will be considered.
Knowledge and Experience
  • One-year minimum experience in a retail or financial environment emphasizing service and relationship-building.
  • Retail operations knowledge (platform and teller operations preferred).
  • Strong communication skills for interactions with members.
  • Professionalism, ownership, and accountability; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Good listening, problem-solving, and empathetic communication abilities.
  • Relevant computer skills, solid math and written communication skills.
