EECU is looking for an Indirect Auditor that will be responsible for auditing each funded Indirect and D&M Leasing loans to ensure contracts/lease agreements meet all EECU and State requirements. The Indirect Funders accurately obtained all the stipulations required by the approving Underwriter, and the Indirect Funder accurately inputs loan data into Symitar's software system. Key responsibilities include tracking all exceptions made by the Indirect Funders, working directly with the Indirect Funders on rectifying errors until the loan account is properly resolved.
The Indirect Auditor reviews the FASB
91 report daily and works directly with accounting if any mistakes arise due to input errors. This position also provides backup assistance to the Indirect Funders, ensuring dealer contracts are within EECU and State compliance, verifying interest rates, terms, advances, and original approval. The Indirect Auditor is responsible for working with the dealer until the contract falls within guidelines and ensuring compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations.
This requires initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
- Must have 5-7 years in the Banking/Financial industry
- Must have 5 years in the Indirect Auto Lending Program
- 2 years Credit Union experience
- Must have an indirect auto background
- Must have analytical skills and computer proficient
- Advance knowledge of Indirect Lending preferred
- Extremely detailed, able to handle a fast paced atmosphere
- Able to effectively communicate to the dealers in order to obtain completed loan packets in a timely manner for funding
