EECU is looking for an Indirect Auditor that will be responsible for auditing each funded Indirect and D&M Leasing loan to ensure contracts/lease agreements meet all EECU and State requirements. The Auditor will verify that Indirect Funders accurately obtained all stipulations required by the approving Underwriter and that loan data is correctly entered into Symitar’s software system.
Key responsibilities include tracking all exceptions made by Indirect Funders, working directly with them to rectify errors until the loan account is properly resolved, daily review of the FASB
91 report and coordination with accounting for inputting errors, and providing backup assistance to enforce dealership contract compliance. The Auditor ensures all EECU and State documents are provided in the loan package and works with dealers to bring contracts into compliance. Responsibilities also encompass compliance with Federal and State rules and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA.
Annual Bank Secrecy Act training is required.
Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:
- 5‑7 years in the Banking/Financial industry
- 5 years in the Indirect Auto Lending Program
- 2 years Credit Union experience
- Background in indirect auto lending
- Analytical skills and computer proficiency
- Advanced knowledge of Indirect Lending preferred
- Extremely detailed, able to handle a fast‑paced atmosphere
- Able to effectively communicate with dealers to obtain completed loan packets in a timely manner for funding
- EECU will evaluate an applicant’s credit history in compliance with applicable law; only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions.
