JobOverview
The Manager, Structured Finance will participate in and manage the negotiation, facilitation, contractual and logistical process of non-agency securitizations as well as mortgage servicing rights securitizations. The role also includes cash management initiatives, liquidity forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
Responsibilities- Understand concepts of structured finance including agency and non-agency securitizations, mortgage servicing rights securitizations and warehouse financings.
- Thoroughly review and negotiate all forms of related transaction documents.
- Manage transactions while fostering internal and external client relationships and business growth.
- Ensure smooth and timely settlement of transactions.
- Execute remediation based on findings from in-process and post‑due‑diligence quality control audits.
- Support financing and capital strategy formulation.
- Assist with cash balances, secured revolving facilities, and warehouse lines to ensure liquidity, compliance with lender and regulatory requirements, and to minimize interest and fee expenses.
- Successfully coordinate across all areas of Pennymac (Legal, Servicing, Investor Accounting, etc.).
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in structured finance and/or securitizations.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Experience and knowledge of mortgage banking a plus.
- Working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts with prior experience in mortgage loan or mortgage‑backed securities desirable.

Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location/market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
- Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role.
- Mid‑range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role.
- Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role.
Some roles may be eligible for performance‑based compensation and/or stock‑based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
