Key Responsibilities Develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and specifications while performing stress analysis and thermal expansion calculations Lead piping engineering efforts from concept to completion, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and preparing cost estimates Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, conducting quality assurance checks and troubleshooting issues during construction and operation
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience Proven experience managing large-scale piping projects in industries like oil and gas or chemical processing Proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D or CAESAR II Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and material science, along with knowledge of industry codes and standards Leadership capabilities to manage teams and drive project success, with advanced degrees or certifications preferred
