Huitt-Zollars has a great full-time opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Staff-EIT at our Fort Worth office. The Electrical EIT will work directly with a Professional Engineer to develop professional technical expertise and knowledge necessary to fulfill the experience requirement for licensure as a Professional Engineer. This role works with multi-disciplinary design teams in the completion of studies, development of plans and specifications for a broad range of projects.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

Duties:

* Serves as a member of multi-disciplinary design teams in the completion of studies, development of plans and specifications for a broad range of projects

* Responsibilities include supporting senior engineers in the design of facilities Electrical systems, including power, lighting, and low-voltage systems

* The candidate will work under the direction of senior and mid-level engineers on multiple projects ranging from small scale to large scale systems

* Assist with appropriate administrative and project support tasks supporting the needs of the project team and office.

* Complete assignments on-time, within budget, and with highest level of quality.

* Routinely proposes and produces more effective ways to accomplish assignments.

Qualifications:

* BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

* 2-5 years of related experience is preferred

* Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is a plus

* Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel

* Strong Capability to utilize AutoCAD, Revit/BIM preferred

* Strong organizational skills

* Good communication skills

* Works well in a team environment

* Thorough attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

* May be required drive to visit client or project sites for short periods of time

* The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
