Water​/Wastewater Operator

Purpose of the Job The Operator II performs routine checks of water or wastewater treatment facilities; responsible for compliance with TCEQ rules or NPDES permit. The Operator II will assist in preventive and corrective maintenance and sometimes investigate customer issues. The Operator II must be familiar with industry standard analyses such as chlorine residual, Ph, dissolved oxygen, suspended and total solids, settleability, and hardness.

This position must be able to inspect distribution or collections system for leaks and perform routine distribution system flushing.
