Civil Engineer (EIT) OR (PE) – Land Development

We are partnering with a growing civil engineering firm in Fort Worth seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT) or PE to support site and land development projects across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to grow within a high-trust, high-performance culture.

The Role

You will work closely with project managers to support the planning, permitting, and design of site development projects. This role offers hands‑on exposure to technical design, client coordination, and construction support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare and modify construction plans and extract quantities
  • Design water, storm, and sanitary sewer systems using local criteria and engineering standards
  • Prepare due diligence and feasibility reports for prospective properties
  • Develop bid packages, cost estimates, and contract documents
  • Coordinate with contractors, construction managers, and survey teams during active projects
  • Attend meetings with municipalities, architects, clients, and contractors
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a dynamic project environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in land development (internship experience considered)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
What We’re Looking For

This firm values more than just technical ability. The right candidate will demonstrate:

  • A strong appetite for learning and continuous improvement
  • Grit, resourcefulness, and a solutions‑oriented mindset
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting deadlines
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • Positive energy and strong team chemistry

This is not a static environment — projects move quickly, collaboration is constant, and team members are encouraged to take ownership and grow.

If you are an EIT or PE looking for a team where you can build technical depth, gain real project exposure, and grow your career in land development, we would welcome a confidential conversation.
