Project Engineer - Level 3

Description

You will be the Project Engineer for the System Integration and Test team which is responsible for developing and delivering advanced system solutions that push the boundaries of aerospace technology.

As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for orchestrating project activities across multiple initiatives, translating technical concepts into actionable plans, and ensuring alignment with cost and schedule targets.

• Identifying and organizing work for each project.
• Building and maintaining integrated project schedules.
• Providing data to leadership to support cost and schedule management.
• Crafting strategies to effectively use both internal and external tools for workflow management.
• Collaborating with technical teams to create roadmaps and long‑range strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Project engineering experience
• Control Account Management Experience (CAM)
• Experience providing status and briefing to senior leadership

• Bachelor s degree in STEM field
• Control Account Management Certification
• Basic knowledge of software development processes
• JIRA and Confluence experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
