F‑35 System Designer

As a F‑35 System Designer, you will work on Air System and Mission System Requirements Work Packages (RWP) that will support Air Vehicle capabilities. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and you must be a US Citizen.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an engineering, STEM‑related discipline or equivalent experience

• Ability to understand the partitioning of functionality and interfaces between multiple subsystems and software applications
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and users to understand their needs to aid in requirements development and decomposition
• Eager to work collaboratively to achieve accelerated development time limits for F‑35 avionics capabilities

This position requires a government security clearance. The clearance level is Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. The schedule for this position is 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
