Electrical Pre-Construction Manager – Head of Construction Recruitment (Texas)

Responsibilities
  • Support Business Development in proposal presentations, interviews, and assist Sales/Marketing in building relationships with General Contractors and Architect/Engineer firms.
  • Prepare preliminary, schematic, design development, and construction document estimates and studies during preconstruction.
  • Initiate and maintain contact with General Contractors and A/E firms.
  • Participate in design decisions, evaluations, value engineering, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
  • Identify new work opportunities and monitor cost trends.
  • Evaluate and analyze subcontractor proposals.
  • Assist in preparing construction schedules for estimating purposes.
  • Collaborate with operations to discuss staffing requirements and build project teams.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of estimating experience in a Pre-Construction Manager role.
  • Proven experience with large commercial and industrial projects (concept to close-out).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Stable employment history.
  • Experience with Accubid and/or Conest.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 4 years of estimating experience in a Pre-Construction Manager role.
  • Must have experience with large commercial and industrial projects (concept to close-out).
  • Knowledge of all electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Expert computer software skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly Excel).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong employment stability.
  • Experience with Accubid and/or Conest.
  • Knowledge of Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
