We are currently seeking a Mechanical & BOM Systems Engineer to join our growing Fort Worth, TX factory. This role blends mechanical engineering design and product development with bill of materials (BOM) coordination and data accuracy responsibilities. You’ll be part of a team producing high‑quality, engineered, made‑to‑order switchboards and related systems.
You will make an impact by:- Supporting mechanical design and development of new or modified products, including switchboards and related assemblies.
- Preparing sketches, design layouts, and specifications using ProE/Creo.
- Assisting in prototype development and testing, and providing technical input on design feasibility.
- Standardizing components and assemblies to optimize procurement and manufacturing.
- Maintaining BOM structures, managing BOM changes, and verifying BOM quality and accuracy.
- Tracking engineering errors and trends and supporting data‑driven decision‑making.
- Developing and maintaining KPIs for engineering data changes.
- Running ad‑hoc reports and supporting order scheduling.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in mechanical design or manufacturing engineering; recent college graduates with internships will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Experience with ProE/Creo and product development tools.
- Familiarity with Power Panel, Switchboard, or Switchgear design.
- Understanding of electrical schematics.
- Experience with SAP, Compas, and Snowflake data sources.
- Exposure to low‑code platforms such as Mendix.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
