Manufacturing Engineer III – High-Speed Packaging

The Manufacturing Engineer III supports 24/7 medical device manufacturing operations by designing, optimizing, and sustaining high-speed packaging and automation systems. This role partners with manufacturing, automation, and engineering teams to improve safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency while ensuring compliance with cGMP and SOP requirements at the Fort Worth North, TX facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize manufacturing and packaging processes, equipment layouts, and automation systems
  • Lead or support installation, validation, and modification of automated equipment
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and inspection/vision systems
  • Support automation technicians and resolve complex equipment or control issues
  • Drive continuous improvement, CAPA actions, and equipment efficiency initiatives
  • Lead small capital projects and manage equipment specification, procurement, and integration
Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Strong background in controls and high-speed packaging equipment
  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred
  • PLC/SCADA/vision programming, machine integration, and project management experience - This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
