Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives—optimizing form, fit, and function of primary and secondary structure and assembly; design, develop, and finalize structural arrangements and layouts with systems interfaces; develop structural design standard parts and fastener selection; create build‑to‑packaged detailed parts, assemblies, and installations.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical degree
- Experience with CATIA, Solid Works, or other CAD applications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance
- Facility requires special access
- Experience with metallic and composite design
- Experience with hand stress analysis for preliminary sizing
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience with additive manufacturing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, team‑based environment
Requires a government security clearance. Secret clearance level. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
