Position: Aeronautical Engineer (Structures/Final Finishes) - Early Career

Responsibilities

Conduct trade studies and evaluate alternatives—optimizing form, fit, and function of primary and secondary structure and assembly; design, develop, and finalize structural arrangements and layouts with systems interfaces; develop structural design standard parts and fastener selection; create build‑to‑packaged detailed parts, assemblies, and installations.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical degree
  • Experience with CATIA, Solid Works, or other CAD applications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance
  • Facility requires special access
Desired Skills
  • Experience with metallic and composite design
  • Experience with hand stress analysis for preliminary sizing
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Experience with additive manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, team‑based environment
Security Clearance

Requires a government security clearance. Secret clearance level. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
