What You Are Empowered To Accomplish
Plummer is looking for an experienced licensed electrical engineer to help grow our EI&C discipline and to contribute on current projects. We are seeking a Senior Electrical PE who will effectively participate in EI&C design and review tasks to achieve goals and outcomes with accountable performance management. We require relevant professional experience in analyzing and designing electrical systems, experience with CAD software to perform integrated design, and knowledge of SKM modeling tools.
Knowledge of NEC and classified areas is also desired.

Our Ideal Teammate
- At least 10 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, including 5 years as a licensed electrical engineer and 1 to 3 years in water and wastewater industry.
- Client development, project management, and technical leadership - preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and a Professional Engineer License in Texas (or ability to obtain one within 6 months) are required. A post‑graduate degree is preferred.
- Strong communicator with leadership skills and the ability to collaboratively plan, problem‑solve, and follow‑through on projects.
Desire Skills
- LV and MV generator sizing and utility coordination.
- Service entrance design for 480 VAC, greater than 1,200 Amps and demanded loads.
- SKM or ETAP, Arc Flash, OCPD coordination, and Load Flow analysis.
- Corrosive environments and hazardous classification areas.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 780, NFPA 820, NESC standards.
- Experience with industrial design and facilities design.
- Writing specifications CSI Master Specs 48 Divisions.
- Proficient in Autodesk AUTOCAD. Position requires Electrical design in AutoCAD - REVIT a plus.
- Project streamline knowledge:
Preliminary report, design phase, bidding phase, construction phase, and close out. - Experience with equipment submittal review, response of RFI during construction, commissioning and site walks.
- Experience coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
- Experience coordinating with EITs, SCADA Specialist, PLC/HMI Integrators, and CAD technical designers.
- Familiarity with P&IDs.
- Medium voltage UG design is preferred.
- Travel expected: 20% within Texas.
