Job Description

We are looking for a Composite Rotor Blade Design Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas. The role involves designing composite rotor blade structures for legacy aircraft upgrades and new flight vehicles.

The Work

The Blade Design Engineer will develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs of composite blade layouts, perform 2D cross‑sectional design, 3D solid modeling and surfacing of blade assembly subcomponents, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and create engineering drawings and part specifications. The engineer will support productionization of blade designs, work with suppliers, provide fleet maintenance support, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across multiple sites.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an accredited university.
  • Familiarity with CAD software.
  • Familiarity with composite laminate structural design and analysis.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Valid ship's clearance as required for ITAR restrictions.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position depends on location, ranging from $57,500 to $114,655.

Remote Work
