ESPO Engineering Corp. is seeking an Electrical CAD Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This role supports multidisciplinary teams of designers, detailers, and engineers in producing high-quality electrical drawings and documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and eager to grow within an engineering-focused environment.

• Assist technical teams in developing computer-aided drafting and design solutions for a variety of projects.
• Prepare and revise engineering drawings of basic electrical components from sketches, layouts, or redlines.
• Assist with the preparation and revision of plot drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with company, client, and discipline-specific drafting standards and procedures.
• Support drafting design and documentation efforts across multiple projects.
• Utilize standard drafting and detailing software to complete assigned tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to drafting quality and efficiency.
• Research project-related issues and recommend solutions to basic design problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable standards.

• Associate’s Degree in CADD, Drafting, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant drafting or CAD experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and motivated to grow professionally within the field.
