Huitt-Zollars has a great full-time opportunity for an Electrical Engineer EIT at our Fort Worth office. The Electrical EIT will work directly with a Professional Engineer to develop professional technical expertise and knowledge necessary to fulfill the experience requirement for licensure as a Professional Engineer. This role works with multi-disciplinary design teams in the completion of studies, development of plans and specifications for a broad range of projects.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

• Serves as a member of multi‑disciplinary design teams in the completion of studies, development of plans and specifications for a broad range of projects
• Supports senior engineers in the design of facilities Electrical systems, including power, lighting, and low‑voltage systems
• Works under the direction of senior and mid‑level engineers on multiple projects ranging from small scale to large scale systems

• Understands, follows, and enforces Huitt‑Zollars business process.
• Collaborates productively with others and leads or encourages teams to achieve success and camaraderie among each other.
• Follows HZ QMS and Quality initiatives, ensuring quality control measures are adhered to on projects and daily operations.
• Maintains up‑to‑date job knowledge and technical skills.
• Assists with appropriate administrative and project support tasks for the project team and office.
• Completes assignments on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality.
• Proposes and produces more effective ways to accomplish assignments.

• BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• 2–5 years of related experience preferred
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is a plus
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong capability to utilize AutoCAD, Revit/BIM preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Works well in a team environment
• Thorough attention to detail
